Zuvor war sie während Ihres Masterstudiums der Sozialwissenschaften an der Humboldt Universität zu Berlin als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin am Deutschen Institut für Urbanistik (DifU) und an der Bundesanstalt für Arbeitsschutz und Arbeitsmedizin (BAuA) beschäftigt. Ihre Forschungsschwerpunkte waren soziale und politische Ungleichheiten und quantitative Forschungsmethoden.
